EHVC Equine Facility
Evergreen Holistic Veterinary Cares Equine is now sharing a new facility with Northwest Equine Stewardship Center (NWESC), a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue and therapy organization co-founded by Dr. Hannah Evergreen.
This new 80 acre facility allows Dr. Hannah to take on short and long term veterinary rehabilitation cases and makes utilizing frequent intervals of acupuncture, chiropractic, stretching, massage and other forms of healing and physical therapy feasible. It also gives her a beautiful and peaceful location to hold teaching and bodywork clinics and Equine Yoga classes for clients and their horses. It is located 7 miles from the EHVC small animal clinic, just outside of Monroe on 215th Ave SE (off of Wagner) and features a 70x130 indoor arena, round pen, 6 stall barn with heated offices, multiple pastures with 4-rail wood fencing, and wooded trails. See our informational flyers: EHVC Equine Facility and Equine Yoga and Fitness (be sure to scroll down to see both front and back of the flyer). Please feel free to print or download these flyers to post at your barn or share with others who may be interested!

NWESC's mission is to promote a mutually beneficial relationship between horses and humans by encouraging community responsibility and stewardship for all horses. We strive to accomplish this mission by working directly with non-profit horse rescue organizations, animal control, veterinary schools and the local community to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation for horses and educational and therapeutic opportunities for humans.
EHVC and NWESC work hand in hand to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation to horses in care of local rescue organizations and animal control.

What the EHVC Equine Facility has to offer to you and your horse:
We are excited to now offer rehabilitation services for your horses as well as a hospital location for you to haul into for routine appointments.
Haul-ins: We will always offer farm call appointments as we have in the past, but we will now encourage you to haul your horse in to see us by saving you the cost of the farm call (there is a $10 haul-in fee instead to cover our costs of clean up, etc). This opportunity allows us to be more efficient in meeting your needs as well as providing a clean, safe, working environment for us to better serve you and your horse.
Rehab: Our rehabilitation program includes board at our top-notch facility, personalized and compassionate daily care, and three custom treatment programs to choose from tailored to your horse’s specific needs.
As many of you know, there have been numerous cases over the years where, being a strictly mobile practice, we have wished for a facility where clients could bring horses in for short or long stays depending on the condition.
Horses can now stay under our daily supervision for as little as a day or a week to over 3 months. This makes it feasible, for example, to provide daily wound treatments for an injured horse that is difficult for the client to treat, to provide physical therapy and rehab for a horse on lay-up or recovering from an injury such as a bowed tendon, or intensive daily bodywork sessions for a horse after a serious accident or during a rigorous training program.
In addition to helping your horse, you can feel good about where your money is going as the EHVC rehabilitation program directly supports the NWESC rescue rehabilitation program by lowering overhead costs. And, as always, EHVC provides veterinary care to rescue horses at a minimum of 30% discount.
Don’t be surprised if we also encourage you to take a few moments to meet the horses that are available for adoption while you are at the Facility with your own horse or stopping by to visit us. Horses are our passion and helping the horses in need in our area is our mission.
We hope you are as excited as we are about this new opportunity.
