Rescue of the Month
Hi. My name is Lola! I’m a fantastic four year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and one of Homeward’s sweetest residents! I’m here for one purpose and one purpose only. To find the forever home that has eluded me for so long. I’ve been a patient girl, but I think it’s about time someone picked me for their very own.
I’ve heard tales of something called a family. Some of the other dogs in the shelter tell me what it’s like to have a warm home with caring humans. Sadly, I’ve never been that lucky.
I’m ready to love someone unconditionally, standing by them through times thick and thin. I have great house manners, and I know I would make an outstanding family pet. I love people of all ages, and I’m good with kids. While I’d rather not share the house with cats, I enjoy the company of other dogs. I especially like meeting well-mannered males, and would love to have a canine companion.
When I’m not out on walks or visiting with the many nice people here, I’m looking towards the door, just waiting for that special moment when my very own person will come. Day after day passes without success. My friends tell me not to be discouraged, but I can’t help but feel sad. I ‘m a wonderful dog, and I don’t know why I keep getting passed over.
My friends tell me that my special day is coming soon. They’ve cared and loved for me like no one ever has, so I believe them. They tell me not to worry, because they’ll help me find the right owner. I’m looking forward to meeting someone who gets as excited for daily exercise as I do. I’m also a great candidate for training classes, and I can’t wait to show someone how talented I am. My new owner should be own their own home and have some previous dog experience. I need them to be knowledgeable of my breed. Together, we can be outstanding representatives for all the great dogs out there!
