NWESC was inspired by Dr. Hannah Evergreen and Natural Barefoot Trimmer Daphne Jones through their work over the past few years with rescue horses.
Northwest Equine Stewardship Center's Mission:
NWESC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a mutually beneficial relationship between horses and humans by encouraging community responsibility and stewardship for all horses.
We strive to accomplish this mission by working directly with non-profit horse rescue organizations, animal control, veterinary schools and the local community to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation for horses and educational and therapeutic opportunities for humans.
At Evergreen Holistic Veterinary Care, we strongly recommend that you consider adopting a rescue animal if you are looking for a new companion. There are many animals currently available for adoption and this year the need for foster and adoptive homes is higher than ever.
Rescue Groups
Evergreen Holistic Veterinary Care lists these rescue organizations as a resource for individuals, we do not endorse any particular group and it is the responsibility of each individual to determine what resources provided will be best suited for their needs. We encourage people to research any organization they plan to work with.
